Painting
Painting gives me space to explore without conditions. I investigate colours and textures, layering, then removing, to reveal past marks and thoughts. I do lose my way but over time, an end presents itself and the painting settles.
Prints
My prints combine design, collage, paint and photography until the medium and subject matter become obscured. It then becomes something else.
Drawing
Drawing is my way of note-taking. Subjects can be reduced to minimal outline and then turned into memories, people and places.
Photography
Photography delivers moments, emotions, landscapes, darkness and light. It’s a record of the amazing world around me.
Collections
When works are combined there is a visual conversation between pieces that creates a unique impact on the viewer.
